I'll start.. took my new blue/black Trex into two heroics to level him.. was wondering why he wasn't charging or anything... took a look at his talents after the second heroic.. hadn't assigned any talent points for him yet... Doh!!

I've done this before, "Why isn't my pet running as fast as it should?..." ohhh yeah, the talents. Doh! I often also forget to assign the last point at level 80.

Lol how many of you have been so excited about seeing a tame you try to tame before dismissing ur trash pet?

Nowadays I almost always remember exactly what to do when I'm taming something, but there was a time when I would always get a brainfreeze when I encountered a rare I wanted to tame. >.<

Hah! I've done both. "Why isn't the damn bear thunderstomping??? ..... oh."

MDing to my pet instead of the tank because I forgot to set the tank as my focus.

Target a mob to hit but can seem to shoot it. Spam the shot cursing why... to find you are out of range. Duh...

Or out of ammo. XD I tend to use 3 kinds of ammo depending on the situation so it isn't rare to run out of the cheapest ones. >.< Also I forget to switch to better ammo way too often.

Or, on the other hand, accidentally right-clicking a mob when you just intended to target it... >.> I was terrible with that back in TBC heroics.

If there's a stupid Hunter trick I haven't done I'd be surprised!

Not talenting a pet, check.
Disengage into fire/off a cliff/onto a mob, check.
Trying to shoot something out of range, check.
Running out of ammo, check (hasn't happened for quite a while, but I've done it).
Bow breaking in the middle of an instance, check (as above).
Accidentally Misdirecting Saurfang instead of a Blood Beast, yeah, check.

Oh great, thanks for reminding me Anansi. My greatest moment: disengaging off the ramps in The Nexus. >.>

Accidentally using Distracting Shot on Saurfang instead of a Blood Beast, that'd be me. Wondered why he was coming after me. lawl

That's me as well...Luckily im always quick on the Feign Death when i do it, and quick to say sry in vent as well.

on Ryai when we were doing the Ignis fight for the weekly, before it started just spewing Naxx and OS raids at us for weeklies, I somehow managed to work myself ahead of the tanks and there wasn't much I could do to try and get back behind Ignis until after he grabbed me and threw me into his crotchpocket of fire.

For Razorscale on Yasindra it was moar pet fun!

Get bombed by fire from Razorscale; move out of it. Start to warm up and get the rust out of my kinks and rotation on the trash. Wonder where Moonglow [STD cat] is, wonder why she's not attacking my target. Glance down, she has Razorscale targeted. So call her back, sic her on the dwarves. She listens, ignores Razor completely until Razor lands. After the first fight I go back to attacking the adds, wondering yet again where Moonglow is, until I realize she disappeared, a good minute after, she pull the stunt.

She zerged off the platform, chasing Razorscale.

Had that happen to me last night but wasn't totally my fault.. Blood Beast died as I was about to hit him, and focus target went to Sauerfang... oops...

Haven't done Nexus, but last incidence of this was off the catwalk in Forge of Souls. Yeah, embarrassing, though on the upside the rest of the group blamed the tank for not holding aggro!

Just remembered another. Taking on Chillmaw solo, and not realizing your pet bar failed to load.

but being saved by an ally warrior who actually thanks you when you try to return the favor is priceless

Sigh...had my pet on aggresive in Wintergrasp cause a goofy mage kept attacking the group at the vendor after we had won and of course forgot all about it and went into an instance...you can guess the rest.

Oh that reminds me of another... On the Gunship battle if I'm on cannon duty I set my pet to Aggressive so he will run after boarding party adds while I pick off Riflemen during the freeze stage.
Forgetting to turn off Aggressive then on Saurfang causes no issues, but it sure does on Rotface or Festergut! Nothing like going in to one of those fights to get positioned and my pet goes charging in....
