Well this is unexpected! Petopia is actually missing a crab! Least in listing. Wonder how he went under the radar for so long.

Adult Truesilver Crab is the name and even WoWHead had no info on it.

For those who need information on this lil guy, he's located in The Vile Reef around 35.72, 55.85 in Northern Stranglethorn. He's not a rare so he respawns pretty quick and is level 35. All by his lonesome. So go give this guy a friend and a home!

Woo! Yeah, I'm not sure myself! He is just there by himself. The water is empty around him otherwise. Poor lonely crab. Least now he has been found. I was even more shocked WoWHead had nothing on him. Not even a level or location so he was really well hidden.

Maybe he's shy? Haha.

He seems to be a quest NPC. But I don't know for what.

Very cool find! I'm glad this little crab won't be lonely anymore.

Hmm....Not sure what. He's near the Horde encampment. I don't remember a quest involving him though.

Wowhead says he was just added in 7.0.1, so it's not THAT crazy that one remote pet would slip by. Still pretty surprising. Great find, Junrei!

Wowhead explains the purpose of this crab, as well as offering another creature mention: a Jade Owl.

I went to the appropriate location to check the second beast out (Moonglade). Unfortunately, he is friendly, level 100, and doesn't show up on Beast Lore. So no new low level green owl for us. Rats!

How fun! I made a gnome hunter too, so perhaps I'll head out that way and nab him when I'm of the appropriate level. I don't usually like crabs, but I do like unique things, and since he's "made" of metal rather than organic, it could fit the theme of a gnome.
