Is it just me or do the mana sabers have oddly long mouths while doing their yawning animation?

Ohh dear, they never fixed that...;;

I noticed it in the beta animations, it's definitely uh...disturbing.

Does that mean the regular cats do it, too?

Cat snake hybrids??

I noticed the same with mine, and I saw this a long time ago with the mount... But it's easily ignored lol.

Unlike other great cats, which go for the jugular, jaguars kill by biting through skull and turtle shells. I imagine mana sabers do the same, and have very large prey.

I think the regular nightsaber (which is pretty much the same model) does the dislocated jaw thing too?

I know the new hipster bears did it too, at least originally, but I'm not sure if it survived the improvements they made

What annoys me about the new saber is not their yawn but their gimped movement. They do this weird hotfoot-shuffle thing instead of walking/loping like the rest of the cats. Hati does this too, for that matter... I haven't checked the new worgs to see if they suffer from it too but I bug reported it for the cats. I'd like to USE one but that shuffashuffashuffa thing gets on my nerves something fierce.

I actually noticed this with one of the minipets as well. The bear cub, when it yawns, has a wide mouth with all gums. It's uncanny valley incarnate to me. YEARGH.

Owlcats have a diet but so far aren't tameable. Hopefully in the future

I'm guessing this animation is this way because all the vanilla wow cats had massive saber fangs. Looks like they just didn't alter it for the newer cats with the shorter teeth.

You think that's bad. Look at the (default) troll cat druid yawn sometime.

There's some glitch with their teeth and they stick together like taffy, stretching across their gaping jaws. I've reported it several times and even on the forums, but they're still taffy teeth.

It upsets me 'cause I like the new troll druidcats a lot. EXCEPT FOR THAT.

I'm going to show my age (again!) now, but every time I see the yawn it reminds me of the album art from Queen's A Kind of Magic, back when music was on vinyl
