Just a thought: do we need a forum section devoted to Hunter (not-pet) issues?

Currently anything Hunter-related that isn't about pets is posted in WoW General. I'm just wondering if the community would prefer it to have its own forum section, or maybe combining pet and other hunter issues in the existing Pets forum (and renaming it).

Or do you prefer the status quo?

It would be nice to have a specific place to look for hunter only related topics and or guides on how to (example Learn to kite in legion?)

Mainly i think a new one would be nice since the others are already very active and full when im lurking around and looking through loads of threads to find that one problem and or guide takes way to much game time away :p

I vote yes. I definitely think the pet forum should be reserved for pets.

I've never thought about it before now. I've just looked for that sort of info in our wow general section, which I expect to be from a hunter point of view. But now that you mention it, it would be good to have a specific class forum.

After all, there are plenty of things we can (and do) discuss as hunters that aren't pet-focused.

Ah yes, I think this is a good idea! Especially with Legion and so many class changes/returning players, I feel we have more Hunter specific topics to talk about and ask questions about.

I vote yes as well. We often have questions specific to rotations, gear, etc., and I think having these in one place would be great! And our pet-specific questions and comments can stay in Pet Discussion. It'll help keep things more organized, and help people search through existing threads easier, too. Awesome idea, Wain!

Yes; mostly echoing what others have said, but I also find it very daunting to keep up with the forums at all sometimes (which is largely why I disappear for large swaths between betas, I think :x). There's just... so much of it, and (heathen that I am) I don't usually have a whole lot of pet-specific discussion to discuss, but general is just so... big, it can be hard to keep track of threads that I would be interested in (largely huntery stuff) vs stuff I'm maybe not as interested in keeping up on.

I mean that said, the general wow forum isn't as overwhelming as some, but still haha

I'm just waiting on one absolutely crucial thing to arrive and then I'll create the forum. So hopefully in a day or two. If there are any recent hunter threads in general then I'll move them over at that point to get it all started.
