Oh my god it bothers me so much. Hati only walks, unless you are mounted. Is there any reason for this or any way to make it stop?

Same here, no idea how to speed the lazy pup up. In PvE it's bearable, if annoying, but in PvP it's a total killer.

It is a bit annoying. Mine walks every where too. And is rather lazy. My normal pet attacks fast. Hati sorta strolls over, when ever the mood strikes him.

He's also rather 'loud'.

At night I play with ear phones on so it won't bother the baby, wife or other kids. I don't really notice it with out them, but with the ear phones on Hati CRACKLES CONSTANTLY. It sounds like someone rusteling a bag of potato chips in my ear almost from the moment I log in till I log out. I can't wait to get the transmogrifier to switch him to something else just to get that to stop. And I kinda like the Hati model.

Both the slow shuffle and the constant howling/lightning drove me nuts, so I finally got the essence swapper. At least now, there's no howling... it's a start.

I have my Hati as an owl, so i actually like the walking animation for them. But it is quite annoying when they take longer to get to the mob, especially in pvp.

Does it still crackle after the essense swap?

Yep - the lightning and crackle effect persists after essence swapping.
