I had a thought. A crazy thought.

Would it be possible to have an interactive map on Petopia??
Like click the world (i.e. Draenor) and the map pulls up with each zone
You click on a zone and it pops up a list of every tamable beast in that zone.
Admittedly ..................... this is just like what Warcraft Pets has.

Where I thought of this was last night while going through high mountain I was wondering what tamable pets were in that specific zone.

I don't know if this is even doable without a ton of work or at all.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure about the map. Does WCP have a graphic map version or just the two selectors? If they can do a map I'm sure I can find out how it's done since we're friends

Otherwise, the two selector boxes should be easy enough. We currently have one, compiled from the pet data, i.e. we don't have a hard-coded list of zones, it just takes the names from what is entered for each pet. I'd just have to make a hard list and link each zone with a continent / world.

Not sure how I missed that.

Wain - They do not just a drop down menu.

What's in place is perfectly fine.

I shan't lie the map would be cool but probably more hassle than it's worth. Especially if it wouldn't be used much.

I feel a little embarrassed. Lol

Don't be embarrassed! Organizing the zones by continent is a good idea--the list is getting long enough to be a little unwieldy.
