I know this is a terrible picture but I planned to go back to this raid and take more pictures before realizing that we have the silly stampede now. I remember I was so shocked when I used stampede and my beloved Rylak was actually flying around with me - only the stampede version though, he actually disappears/falls in the flying phase normally. I always thought pet Rylaks couldn't fly, hence when you use their ability Updraft they just glitch-run underneath you. Do you think it's a feature they forgot to put in? It's probably not a significant enough thing for them to implement now but it would be so cool if they did.

Back in WoD beta they could fly. I actually took a crappy video of it here.

It was fun being able to send them up to attack things in the air and I do miss it

Oh, that's awesome! Now that I think about it though I can see people abusing Updraft and sending their Rylak to attack people if it flew. What a shame.

The red winged bats for the bird quest in Spires can fly and so can the grey/blue rylaks with the goblins and head caps on the lvl 100 island, Darktide I think. I've tested them both as I'm on a PvP server

Sorry, Echo Hunter and Controlled Darkwing can both fly.
