Has anyone found the item that lets you tame mechanicals? Can anyone let me know where or what to farm? thanks!

It's made by engineers, the plans are sold by xur in dalaran but they require a rare drop to purchase.

If you're impatient, like me, you can buy it on the auction house.

I bought mine on the AH (it dropped to around 4k) since the coins seem to be beyond stupid rare. lol @ 150 for the mount.

4k... It's 12k here Still too expensive for me. I'm stingy.

The mats to make it don't seem to be that bad, with the exception of the Felwort. Well, and the Blood of Sargeras, which you can't really provide to your local engineer since they're BoP, but the Felwort is going to be the expensive one because the only methods of getting it right now are getting lucky in a bag or the herbalism world quest that cycles every 3-4 days.

I seriously doubt any of you are on US Korgath, but if you are I know Nahela has the recipe if you can catch him online; he's the dude that made mine for me.

If anyone here's on Eonar horde-side, I can make em for ya's. Got the schematic yesterday.

Heck, even 12k is cheap. It's going for 50k on my server right now, and that was the low end. Last I checked the AH had it up to 70k. If I could just get a dang coin I'd buy the schematic myself in a heartbeat!

A friend in my guild got a coin early and made a Mecha-Bond Imprint Matrix for me, I still have my one coin.

I wish there was something I could do help you guys. On Thrall-US, they are 4k to 6.5k. 14 total listed in that range. Are BTag friends allowed to trade across realm?

so after you get the mecha-bond imprint and learn it... you can then tame mechanical animals; so you then have to acquire food to keep the mechanical animals happy or they poof like in vanilla, correct?

No, you can feed them but you don't have to, just like the other pets.
