I'm really starting to hate Hati. I've been camping Toxx for several days now, he finally pops up as I'm standing there, my pets are both on passive. I dismiss them and hit tame, my main pet is gone but Hati hasn't completely disappeared. So when I hit tame? he attacks and one shots Toxx. omg. So not only will he not show up on time he's slow to go away.

Be careful my fellow hunters. I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else.

It was pointed out multiple times as early as Alpha that Hati should be dismissed immediately upon pet dismissal, but they ignored it. It seems Hati is still on some kind of ticker, along with a whole bunch of things that delay pet reaction time and are really freaking annoying. I don't know if they get to save some cpu if these things are on a ticker or if they were simply recoded by someone who was oblivious to the consequences. Or both.

On the upside Wow's RNG threw me a bone. Finally got the Onyxian Drake and came back around 3:30 eastern am and found Toxx on Dalaran. I was about to give up when he popped up. Yay for being stubborn!

I can't seem to get Rexxar to simmer down while taming. I have to bombard the pet to get solid aggro and hope he doesn't Mishra. Very frustrating.

Freeze Trap seems to be the only way to have the wonky NPCs not attack when you're casting Tame Beast.

Yeah when I know I'm going to tame something I get rid of my bodyguards. It'll be easier once BM has traps again.

Exact same thing happened to me when I was trying to tame Arcturius on my gnome.

Good thing I remembered reading this when stumbling upon Krush today. Hati persisted for 5 to 7 seconds after I dismissed my pet and was dancing around the Devilsaur.

Note to self: Un-equip Titanstrike / equip different weapon when camping pets.

I finally lucked out and got him this morning. Next is Skoll and I am making sure no Hati is around this time.
