Well, his front right leg is.

Wow it really has a mind of its own! I wonder if this is why they didn't make a normally tameable one. I wonder if they even know.

Ugh I noticed that the first night I had him. Thought I was going insane because I didn't remember the legs being that restless on other scorps, but then I saw the wild glitchy twist lol. I checked my other scorp but it isn't broken, so sadly just that model. I can live with it though.

If you look at the Walk cycle animation on wowhead it uh....yeah, something's funny with that leg.

AHAHAHA OMG. I saw it when he was sitting idle and thought it was just the idle animation.. holy crap.

I didn't even know these were tameable! Pretty cool model, even with the janky leg.

Edit: I read it wrong, and thought someone said tameable. I just woke up, so ignore me.

The broken animation reminds me of .. I forget. Some early beta model from Draenor that did weird stuff like that. Maybe it was rylak winds.

But the picture also reminds me of what a gorgeous model this is I didn't get one of these tames but I'm sure one day it'll become available and I shall have it!

Yeah, it's been like that since the model came out in Firelands. I believe that was the same patch that the dungeon journal came out, or maybe it came out with Dragon Soul. I didn't do much raiding at all, and didn't even know what bosses were where, and then I came across Majordomo Staghelm and started looking through his stuff. Saw the jank-ass scorpion leg and couldn't help but wonder how that got through without someone saying "let's fix this."

I think it was the talbuk hindleg thing,or the kirin mount's wonky animation it had at one point?

There was a point (before new models by some considerable amount) when human males had a middle finger that would twist around and do weird stretchy contortions just like this. It took Blizz a surprisingly long time to fix it.

Looks to me like the skin weights are broken on those legs.

Correct, since Blizzard just reused the scorpid skeleton they had to re-weight the skin to the bones and this is the result. Blizzard must of saw this and did not make a tamable version until they could fix the issue.

The swim animation is even more impressive
