Do all Birds of Prey do this, or just some of them?



In case it's hard to tell in the pic: it flattens out on the ground, wings spread, every time it does the Claw ability. Like, it's up in the air during combat the rest of the time, but when it wants to use Claw, it drops down onto the ground like a pancake and Claws before flying up again. It's the weirdest thing!

I think he forgot how to bird :O

I think it's because it's an old skeleton trying to use new animations (meaning, it can't). I noticed it some time back when I was trying to get my Kaliri owl Maiara to do a Trick.

I have a feeling the "pancake" pose is the default T-pose for the bird models. Still funny when they do it! And cute. Adds some personality depending on the situation too.

Yeah, what's funny is that I remembered your bird and that post when it happened. However, my bone hawk did the Trick just fine, but Claw apparently just blows its mind and it has a meltdown.

I suppose I could try to think of it as something it does because it's undead and its birdy brain broke.
