Yes, the contest is now out in Europe too!

I'm planning on entering our dear guild in the Beta Contest in hopes of getting a Beta key for 10 of our guild members.

Our assignment is surprisingly different compared to the US counterpart.

All you need to do is take a screenshot of you and your guild showing off your creativity in terms of breath-taking landscapes, lighting, impressive camera angles and epic poses. The only requirement is that the word “Cataclysm!” is displayed in a chat bubble together with your character and guild names! Please remember that submissions missing the chat bubble and guild name tags will be ineligible to win.

I have very limited skill and equipment for this, so now I need everyone's help more than ever.

Also if you are interested in being one of the 10 lucky ones to get the beta key, send me a PM on this forum so I can keep track of how many there are.

Perhaps from a casual standpoint? Since the game isn't just about hardcore players for pvp or pve [IE BG and Dungeons] but for leveling alts, professions, taming beasts, a view point on quests if they're to hard or infact, to easy even for a casual as sometimes it just feels like some things are just to easy when questing now.

I mean most people from most chosen guilds would be focused on either pvping or dungeon scrawling which isn't the entirety of the game.

Indeed, that's what I've been thinking too. I don't think there are all that many guilds that enjoy Hunter pets nearly as much as we do. We may not be hardcore by traditional terms, but we sure are masters when it comes to pets. ;)

You could scribe me up as casual raider, as that's what I've been doing lately. :D
But yeah, I'm with you on the questing/levelling bit as well. If I get I to the beta, that'd be what I'd be doing.

I agree with everything that Ryai said.
And we are hunters so we can improve pet management and abilities or their behavior in certain aspects of the game. I’d love to try and find a fix to our pets doing the whole loved “I will go to the other side of the zone and pull tons of mobs to me” – attitude.

Also loving how we are would take the casual route, I’d love to read the quest log and see if the quests are understandable to the player themselves. Oh and we can also try to look out the how the secondary professions progress. Cooking and should there be another cooking daily can the testers themselves give suggestions on daily names. (Okay this would be a little too much…one can hope)

And as said we can explore the new content from either a top level view -or a fresh new level one character. Also paying attention to the area around us is there some kind of noise that is annoying and should be toned down and is the music okay. Arg theres SO much to look at! It’s making just jump in joy.
Oh and maybe we can nudge Blizz to create new special rare beast spawns. Hey you don’t know unless you try!
I guess what Blizz most of would want us to do as hunters is to get used to our new Focus based spells.

Looking at the link, they're going to be accepting 500 guilds. They're sure to get their fill of the serious raiders and PvPers, so the idea of billing the guild as something else should help. Maybe as a guild representing hunter interests?

Yeah, make the point that our class will be the most overhauled one in the game. It is sure to need extensive testing.
