Can anyone please find out for sure? I heard from a couple of friends that were also trying for Fenryr *solo and on vanilla mythic difficulty* and quite honestly, I really do not want to keep bashing my head against the wall trying to tame Fenryr if he won't spawn a tamable doppelganger immediately afterwards.

Please let me know. I'm stuck at freaking 5 % before the bleed effects tick to my inevitable death.

I think they would announce if they were going to remove it. I don't see why they would. Can I get a link to your armory & maybe I can give you some tips?

I'm sure Fenryr will remain post 7.2.5, and will become easier as the expac and gear levels go up.

Maybe your friends heard about the current requirement for Fenryr, as in, one-shot dungeon, if you leave, tameable Fenryr won't spawn?

Can you get any tier? The 4pc is huge for BM.

He doesn't just instantly spawn... don't you have to wait for a soft dungeon reset before he does? At least when I tamed him, I had to.
But I was also lucky enough to get him before the nerf.. I dunno if something changed after that.

Aye, they did change it. A soft reset no longer does anything. You just have to completely solo Mythic Halls of Valor up to and including Fenryr.

Has there been a confirmation that post 7.2.5 Fenryr didn't spawn once solod in mythicm or only rumor? He showed up immediately in the cave when I did it earlier in 7.2.

He should still be obtainable post 7.2.5. It is meant to be the new "tame challenge" put in Legion for us.

I think ppl are just mixing old info with new info.

After soloing up to and including Fenrir(boss), the tamable version should spawn shortly after the kill. No need to exit, nor wait for a soft reset of any kind.

my friend just tamed him last thursday so

i was the one giving her pointers on how to solo the thing and have it all on discord.

It MUST becompleted in one attempt, or else the tameable fenryr will not spawn. I am not sure if this means not exiting the dungeon, or not resetting it but extending past a reset it WILL invalidate it, as the game cannot tell that you killed hymdall solo earlier. I started fresh and never left the dungeon and it worked

I tamed him just last week, so he's still around for sure.

I'm not able to get passed the first boss. Get him to 80% and my pet loses all aggro, and nothing I do will drop aggro. Even feign death, when it doesn't bug out and makes me stand up immediately, isn't dropping aggro from me from the boss. Reapplying misdirects to the pet does nothing. I last about 10 seconds with him smashing my face in. And yes, my pet is in tank spec (tenacity).

@Twistedklown, which spec are you in? BM or MM?

I soloed it but the wolf just never spawn .. contacted GM ... just pray he will assign the pet to me so sad

I think it is bugged sad

Was able to get this bad boy finally with a LOT of help from a friend who also tamed it previously.

Says I'm 898, but I'm 901. Seems to be an armory bug with titanforged raid finder gear. I have the same issue on my druid with a 890 chest showing as 855 also because it is a titanforged raid finder piece. Am I just not high enough yet (ilvl or tier is mandatory?) to do it?
