HUGE apologies for the site being down for the past couple of days. It feels like weeks!

There was an issue with the configuration of the server that took a long time to diagnose and resolve. Thanks to our server guy Jon for tracking it down and getting us back!

By the way, when there are extended problems we usually tweet about it on @wowpetopia . Even if you don't usually use Twitter it should be possible to check our feed in cases of uncertainty.

I personally blame Wain.... He's on holidays!

Now normally when he goes away, the moment he takes off, there is some "Massive New Patch Drop!" or "Expansion details RELEASED!".
Brand new models, and pets and everything he would desperately would love to dig around the files and play with... but he can't cause he's on holidays, it's so very very cruel. Blizzards really do like to give him the hibigeebies.

This time however he doesn't have a return ticket and I think the Blizzards have found out and I think they have colluded with Russian hackers and are trying to make the sever unstable, just enough to force him to get a return ticket...


Well thats my guess.

Sorry for all the outages. As far as I can tell (from our server runner) the outages were unrelated. The latest one was very short and the server was up almost immediately after I emailed the server guy. I'll wait to see what he says is the cause, regardless.
