Green with purple spikes? Do want. I'm sure they'll cost an arm, a leg, and your first-born child to acquire, though. Anything that's even slightly cool usually does (note I said "usually").

It looks like a hybrid between the drakes and proto drakes. Looks total bad ass! They apparently can be obtained in Deepholme.

Nice me like the red one. Well AdamSavage there has to be a drake thats the stage between the proto and the normal ones and i could see this as it.

Well yeah it's evolution ya can't just go from one thing to another thing that looks nothing like it and say the first one turned into the other one theres useally an animal inbertween those two. Thats the easyest way to put it.

I think they look cooler this way. I don't like the animation of the proto drakes at all.

Well thats fair i do like the protos more than the normal ones as the normal ones have that silly walk i can't stand.

Very pretty drakes there! I want one, anyone will do but I think I would prefer green and purple!

But, has there been confirmation these will be mounts? They could just be mobs that we will have to kill and get no reward for doing so? I mean, I know the ammount of colours used COULD point towards a faction reward but seeing as this expansion is going to bring out new raids (possibly new tactics) and new bosses, these could be bosses too!

Just speculating, as I don't want anyone to get their hopes up, unless these guys have been confirmed already...

I don't believe it! Dragon mounts that actually look good! I never thought that would happen. I especially like the one with orange detail. I want that one please.

They are mounts. If you look closely you can see where you sit on one.

It is possible that npcs will be riding them. Time will tell.

Yah but I don't think there is a mount even now in northend that the npc's ride that we cant get ourselves.

The current map of Deepholm for Cataclysm features a couple of areas called Stone Dragon Field, and those dragons look like they could be a bit stony.

How we could get them though, who knows. Could be that they are for achievements gained in a 10 man raid, 25 man raid, 10 man heroic, 25 man heroic. I kind of hope not though as I want one of those and I'm not a big achievement chaser, especially raid achievements.
