Stingy (evil) personality. And her pose came with her! I couldn't be believe it. She was instantly in heat. I'm bound to get some good black /dark cubs for sure.

Please please please check my nurseries to see if any of the cubs I currently have interest you. They'll be chased off tomorrow at roll over. Rake currently has five pregnant ladies. At least one due tomorrow.

It's this time of the.. <look clock> month? for an update!
My three Ice (and their sisters) are now adults that will soon be able to make cubs of their own! (With their dad. Now that I think of it, it's a bit creepy, even if there's no penalty for incest in this game) And my efforts with Brooke (to not kill her) finally paid! She gave birth to a little mutie today, an achromia female.
I notice that my king transmit his eyes very much, most of my cubs ends up with Amber eyes.

I had my very first mutant cub!

He's polycaudal, which is a harmless mutation. I admit I was scared to look when I got the notification I had earned the achievement for breeding your first mutant. I'm glad it wasn't a fatal one! I really wish he'd inherited better markings, though.

!! Congrats! That's a really cool mutation!

The kinda bug of the picture is because some of the markings that are on this cubs are not yet updated/designed for polycaudals, so it make the "error miss something" (like for primals, the hyena stripes are not visible yet). Try in the wardrobe without the mutation to see what it is, if you're curious.

(I have a new primal btw! A baby girl, all black. I wanted a back primal <3)

Okay so I did get -some- luck I suppose. A few days ago I found another evil lioness while exploring but she wasn't really interesting enough to keep or show so she went to the nature reserve. Today however I ran into and enticed this lovely lady:

Great. Not only an event that reminds me how alone I am, but one that encourages stupidity in naming and disallows others to have fun cos godammnit stop slapping me the SECOND I find your lioness to flirt with. *Sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose.* This would be less stressful if I weren't having random computer issues causing me to lose everything I did today and generally feeling crap. Again.

Lioden has left me feeling a little disheartened lately. While my main king finally made dreamboat every lioness for the past week has been duds. Every cub born dud. I've bred some of my most gorgeous females to my kings & all but maybe two cubs have come out pretty. One cub came out albino with a 100% henna tail. Um. Which I can't for the life of me figure out since neither sire or dam had even remotely close to either color /marking. The dam had normal NCL colors with no markings. Maybe I should have kept her.

But yeah. Little disheartened with LD right now.

*hugs Varethyn and Zedrxgal* It's okay to do pauses in these cases, you won't miss anything. The events are year round if you ever want to come back.
I will probably do one myself soon, as the spring évents doesn't interest me much.

Yeah I'm doing my best to avoid anything to do with this month's event. If people flirt with my lionesses I'll slap them but that's it. I will be interested in the shops when they open so I'll need some heart shells for that. Particularly the gem stuff.

Tika had cubs yesterday but they just aren't worth sharing. They're in the Nursery cave, as are all my cubs and pregnant/nursing girls if you do want to see them.
Of note I got Naiara here from the Giving Tree:

She's Gracious (Good), only 38 stats but she has a special base in Buttermilk. I haven't figured out how else you get special skins so she's staying with me.

A question regarding PvP for territory. I've started these on Rake last night. I won a fight but no territory was gained. Just experience. Bug?

I claimed her late last night & this girl kept her pose! Maybe bitching no here really does bring some good luck. I increased her opacity to 100% on her three slots simply because of keeping the neutral pose and her colors meshed so amazingly well. I may change her name to peanut butter cup. I don't know why but so many of my lions are being named after food /sweets /coffee.

I have probably worded my grousing quite poorly. After a passing in the family & the stress headaches my state has not been "right" for yeah I'd say 8 days.

I AM enjoying the even. Quite a lot actually. I find sadistic glee being able to smack the shit out of another male trying to flirt with my ladies.

Some of the explore results are downright hilarious. Like normal I do nothing that brings negative karma. I check the event tab A LOT to see how close we all are to unlocking the special areas. Clearly the smacking area is winning. lmao I suspect that'll be opened by tomorrow.

I think my fault may be in that I am just making poor pairs so to speak. Low level, drab lionesses. Which now that Rake's a dreamboat will be easier to remedy. I say this because the "good" or best cubs I've gotten so far have been from breedings to higher stat females from the giving tree.

I've always been super sensitive to anything regarding sex, innuendos, jokes relating to it etc so some of the events that pop up make me extremely uncomfortable. In particular the dwarf trying to *ahem* mount a normal lioness. And the options you get given... *Shudder* Not only that but, even though I fully support LGBTs I hate hate HATE that by trying to be nice and cheer up dejected males I essentially get gay points with the only other option aside from skipping the event (and thus the currency) is to fight them. It doesn't feel fair.

Regarding cubs, I'm irritated that none of them come out looking anything like their parents. A lot I bred recently had NO markings whatsoever despite the amount between the parents. I don't understand genetics in this game. For a time I thought it was similar to BeastKeeper in that breeding same-colour/marking lions I could get the "deviant" or "special" colours.

Yeah I see your point Vare & understand. TBH the one that guts me every time is the maneless male. It has a very bullying vibe to it which makes me cringe. I hit the explore paw button when he comes up. I also DO NOT "demand shells" from the poor bloke who's stash you found. Again seems like a bullying dick move to me. Stumbling upon matings ...................... I could see it being bothersome. I do help out the dwarf lion because ...................... I'd feel guilty. To me that keels like the "kindest" option simply because he was born different. I know it seems kinda awful to help him but it seems less cruel then stopping it or staring. I feel she wouldn't have put herself in the position to mate with the dwarf in the first place if she wasn't interested. A lot of options have full blown bullying /dick moves in them. Or it very well could be I'm just placing too many human emotions on a pixelated lion sim.

Anyways.

Is anyone insterested in this Newly Claimed Lioness? She's a neutral personality and very low fertility but she does have some very pretty colors & 122 total stats at level 1. She could make a really nice hunter or produce some decadent cubbies. Or both. Please let me know. I'd keep her if I didn't already have two very lovely chocolate lasses I spent GB's on.

Edit: And the above female is currently in heat & only 3 yrs 6 mon old.

Edit #2: OK. Probable den purge about to happen.
Cream & her cub Timid (F) need to go. Prefer they go together but not necessary.

Female cub & Her sister need a new den. Ready for adoption in a day or two.

Pondering I'm on the fence about hence her name. She is due to drop her cubs Tuesday.

Tiny female cub will be ready soon as she hits 5 months.

Dark Romance is ready to go now.

Dipstick I'm super super on the fence about. I'm quite attached to her.

Peach can go. However I'll keep her if cream goes and vice versa.

Ripple also can head to a new den. I'll be keeping her sister. Ripple will be off breeding cooldown in two days.

Varethyn - Yeah, I can certainly understand how this could be an awkward event. I'm sorry it's making you uncomfortable. I have a kinda immature sense of humor sometimes, I guess. I agree that the bullying options upset me, and I don't choose them. And the maneless lion one needs another option that isn't being a complete jerk. There is the option to turn off all holiday events on the holiday page, if that helps, and if there is something you want from the holiday shop, I'd get it for you so you don't have to deal with the actual event

And yeah, the breeding is...not simple. I don't understand it exactly. And alot of my cubs are plain little potatoes. But that makes the good ones more exciting for me. I find that if I breed high opacity lionesses with multiple marks, I get better cubs. I'd be happy to send some of nice ones your way, and I have alot available right now! They aren't super awesome, of course, but I think they're pretty.

zedxrgal - Congrats on those wild gals! The "good" one is just stunning! If you ever want to get rid of her...hehe
