Just wondering why is the mech frog variants are not part of the speculated upcoming pet page even though mech gophers made it?

At this point, the new frog model (the ones that look similar to tree frogs) are meant as a replacement for all critter frogs, which includes a few robotic ones. It is possible that the mechanical frog could be tamable, just as the mechanical prarie dog could be. Might've just been something that Wain missed. He does have a lot on his plate

I just felt they looked a little simple and small to speculate on. I could be wrong though

I want both sorts of frog tameable. Gimme my giant red-eyed tree frog! Even in robot form!
