Is it just me and they marked landing points on the map where you first log into on the alpha or do we have a new Gara type of quest for a pet?
Any thoughts?

I doubt that they have implemented anything like Gara at this point. Far too early. But I'm not exactly sure what you mean by markings on the map.

there are 3 x's and 2 o's on the map with dotted lines connecting the x's.
just was hoping it was a hint or a maybe...

The main map of Kul Tiras or Zandalar? The world map? That of a particular zone?

Alpha is down at the moment and i am not remembering if there is anything on the Zandalar one or not.

Oh! That is tied to the zones, since that is the map where you get the quests that direct you to them. But it is good that you're being observant. We may need that later
