Is there a way to tell if the server is acting up or it's the computer. I logged into IF earlier and people where moving around , mounting up etc.. however I could not mount up or do anything but walk around. I could not even check my mail. I tried it out my laptop and the same thing. Then I get booted from the server and when I logg back in it's fine. It's really anoying. I don't know if this could be a add on problem. I only use titan panel ,bartender, spartan ui and WIM on the laptop for add's that is it.

Lately it's been really bad and it's only later at night when I have problems. It can't be my net connection as the laptop is on wireless and the desktop is not. My msn and everything else worked during this time but the game the way it should. *sigh*

I had the same problem today but it wouldn't go away. I flushed my dns and then deleted my cache files and It's been stable so far.

So the problem is due to my DNS Cache. I can't get a proper connection now without flushing my dns it seems. What would cause my dns cache to be wonky like this ?

It's back once again. Soon as that patch came out everything started to act up.. Maybe it's a Add on that's screwing with the cache ?

I've been getting a lot of server lag and jumpiness on my server and in dungeon groups others have reported the same thing. I think it's possible the server you're on may be causing it. But I've also been getting an addon error message on mine that seems to be coming from one of the addons. The box says that there's an error in the addon so it may not function correctly and the game may not run right. This has only started since the last two updates. So it could be one or all of your addons.

I dunno though because when this was going on I disabled every single add and it was still being all stupid. I couldn't mount up buy I could reply to messages that where sent me. so when I shut the game down and logg in It's like I never left. The only thing that seems to fix this is flushing the DNS cache and deleting the wow cache. I was fine again till that last patch came out and then it's going on stupid on me.

They were throttling or something and also said some windows seven users were having problems. I have no idea if it has to do with your problem tho, they had some things up about it on mmo champion and wow.com the other day.

I'm 99.9% sure it's not a Windows 7 issue. I've been using W7 since it was a pre-beta and WoW has NEVER been a problem.
I bet is something in the servers.
One thing I noticed was also that there are riderless mounts and that I can check my mail or the AH and certain things don't show up like the item description. I wouldn't think an addon would cause that.
I'm guessing it's server lag.
