I haven't seen any listing for them other than the unicorns in the stag listings. Has anyone been able to find any of the new model horses and tamed them?

There are currently no tamable horses. There was a skill involving horses that was datamined, but there was no horse family. So, for right now, it is up in the air whether or not they will be making them tamable.

Opposite I'm pretty sure.

There was a new family for them, but no family skill.

There's actually no horse family in the pet family database. I've checked the file personally to confirm that. The only possibility is if an update to that is in cached data (which wasn't released in the build but was sent from the server later) but if so I'm not aware of it. There was some sort of talent or skill that referenced horses but it may be part of a discontinued plan for unicorns to be horses, or it may be for something we haven't seen yet. I've no idea where MMO-C got their family list from.

I saw them say among the list of new pets that 'horses' were also listed:

Though the shale spider being listed as exotic amused me because they have always been 'exotic' lol. So, here is hoping they do add horses soon or we find out how to unlock them...

Yeah, that was MMO-C’s list. I’m not sure how they derived it. Even if horses are really coming you can see there are more obvious glitches in it, like “Exotic Shale Spider” being a new family.

Maybe the counted the unicorns and assumed all horses, I really do hope horses become a thing xD

I just hope it include zhevras. I've been wanting one as a pet since Wrath!

It might be that they just decided to roll them into the Stag family, since they did seem to be thinking about condensing some of the superfluous ones. I don't really care what they're called, at least we're getting unicorns. There might be more on the way after.

The fact they've rolled them into the Stag family also means that the family has become a more broad family for 'horned grazing ruminants'. It means that goats and rams could easily be merged into it with no inconsistency. Hopefully rams will be, at the very least, since they're not currently tameable and might be a little silly in a family on their own at this point.

I find it odd that they'd continue to call such a family "stags" and I assume that will be altered at some point. Ungulates, anyone? I don't think they'd use that, but it's a great word. Fun to say. But then, to be accurate, we'd need the hippos and rhinos and such in there too. And then it gets confusing again.

Yeah. I think they try to avoid such technical words these days. I can't think of a good word, but something that reflects the fact they're horned, or herdbeasts or grazers, but still sounds tough. Hmmm :/

With how varied the creatures are I'll cut them some slack when it comes to family names. Even if they're not perfectly encompassing, a simple one works better than a more correct technical one. At the end of the day the name won't affect much, as long as we can tame them.
