It amazes me how many people (mainly elsewhere) have taken this and spat on it. For example, in the comments on the Wowhead article, there are a lot of people complaining that 10 more slots isn't enough for them, or that Blizz just giving 10 is an insult.

They didn't have to do anything. They could've just left it at 50. People should remember that before they start whining.

Edit: Seems to be no different on Reddit.

Yeah thats crazy, be happy we got more! I hope its just a stop gap measure while they continue to work on a more tenable long term solution. Either way, its a good day, 10 pets is a lot!

Your first mistake was reading comments. That's a surefire way to lose IQ on those sites. I agree though that they're biting the gift horse here; free stuff is free stuff, so just take it and be happy that you have more than before. Complaining about free additions that don't detract from anything is a pointless endeavor, and nothing embodies pointless endeavors like comments on news sites or offshoot anonymous boards.

Hunters already have a bit of a reputation for being greedy entitled little snots. This doesn't help.

That's true. As I said, I expected for some whiners, but not nearly the amount that are currently whining.

Well, that's lovely. That will surely inspire Blizzard to address the situation promptly and thoughtfully.
