I actually been thinking on getting this plus the new ea "expansion" for it.
Couple of questions :
Is there blood when you kill animals?
Is there humanoid encounters?
Is there a storylinie?
Are there quests /pointers or do you have to figure it out yourself?

I enjoy this game

No no blood since you rarely have to kill.
No the only humanoid in the game is your character more or less, the rest are creatures exept for an occational voice. I can't say for sure about Sub Zero as i haven't played it.
Yes there is in a way, your character is stranded on a planet mostly consisting of water and has to find a way off it and back to "civilization"
some parts have pointers and quests, but food, water, building etc is trial and error kind of. the game has different types of modes. in some you can just build and explore without having to worry about food, water and oxygen, in others those play a major role,
the basis of this game is exploring and learning about your enviroment, as well as gathering materials for building and such.

I hope this helps abit

Thanks :)
Sub Zero looks nice. Both a bit expensive so I first get it when they come on sale

I looove Subnautica. I would hold off on the expansion unless you get a really good deal though Tarn. I got it and it's really not finished at all. There's about maybe a half hour of story in. You can explore, but the world isn't quite ready either.

I've just recently finished ABZU and looking for another underwater type of game to play. Guess I will give this one a try. Looks a lot different in game-play. A lot longer as well, I think. It looks beautiful though, and there really are not many games with largely underwater mechanics. :geek:
