With the pre patch tomorrow we lose one of the most annoying yet lovable mutts in Azeroth Hati I shall never forget you...

I'm actually rather hurt of Hati disappearing. It'd be one thing if they were in my stables, but it's another just being... gone.

Spent some time taking photos with him. Really gonna miss my lightning wolf.

Here's to hoping we meet again, Hati.

I've been against being forced into 2 pet mechanic, but I will miss Hati the wolf.

Blizzard ought to realize that hunters bond with their pets. This is just cruel.

Hati has spent the night doing Brawler's Guild with me, getting some fighting in. Trying not to think about what is going to happen. I'm not looking forward to losing him. I hated being saddled with him at first, but he grew on me. Alot. I'll miss him.

Is there a lore reason to where she's going or is she simply disappearing? D:

I was never terribly fond of the 2 pet mechanic, and Hati could be darned annoying, especially early on in the expansion. Even so, I have to admit it makes me a little sad to see Hati just vanish without some sort of 'goodbye' cutscene or quest. I'd hoped we'd get at least something to let us know Hati's fate.

Hati is bound to Titanstrike. The power of the Thunderspark is within him, which allows Titanstrike to actually work, but it also allows Hati to live. Since Titanstrike absorbed the corrupted power of Sargeras' sword, then eventually the weapon (and thus Hati) will be overwhelmed and burned out. That is the lore reason, and we haven't seen anything in the Beta that shows anything beyond that. Mechanically, there hasn't been anything done for Hati (as far as we are aware) that would allow us to have him continue along with us.

I have to agree. While most artifacts are fine with the cutscene we got, there are a few that I feel deserved a little extra touch (like Spriest). Would have been nice for flavor, even if it was just a text window as part of a quest for that spec.

Bleh, just logged in and I feel kinda empty without Hati. He really deserved something, Blizzard. You guys shouldn't have done it this way.

I'm guessing it's confirmed now that Hati doesn't get any sort of special goodbye or anything? That's really sucky. For weapons that they gave special stories for and pressed so much through the expansion, you'd think they'd do at least something as a goodbye.

Yeah, just....nothing. A blurb on the weapon interface that it was basically burnt out and that's it. Seems an anti-climatic way to end it, after so much content revolved around the artifacts. I thought that Blizz was maybe being secretive about the end of the story, or at least I hoped. But I guess they weren't hiding anything because there was nothing to hide.

This is Blizzard now they remove stuff for no reason and don't care who they upset as long as we pay them money I haven't been able to log in yet keep hanging on that ugly new screen so in my mind Hati is still there and in a sense he always will be there.

I'd like closure just so I know what happened to Hati. Is he dead? Is he back with Thorium? Is he roaming Stormpeaks like Skoll? (Please don't make me compete with other hunters for a pet I had for a couple years. Please, Blizzard)

Here's hoping they will add Hati as a tameable Spirit Beast somewhere, somehow. I think, for me, that would be the ideal way of doing it.

So the general assumption is that's he's just dead? Maybe his spirit could have been released somewhere.

I would think so, but I don't recall seeing any Hati npcs in the DB, nor any npcs that use Hati's model. And if Blizz went out of their way to hide him, then why when the other classes don't have to go finding their artifacts?

I haven't logged in in months and now I just don't want to because I'm gonna miss that mutt! Definitely never changing my signature so Hati can live on in some way, shape or form. Such a great doggo, Hati will be missed!
