Hi fellow Hunters,

A quick question about the Thunderstomp ability - https://www.wowhead.com/spell=63900/thunderstomp

Since the recent patch has this pet ability been changed/removed? Today I was looking at my pet bear (which was set as tank before the update) and noticed the ability was nowhere to be found. Its no doubt my mistake and I've missed something in the patch notes. I did read through the wowhead BM Hunter guide and didn't spot anything in that.

I've read the following - All pet families have a set specialization that cannot be changed. Each pet family will be either Ferocity, Tenacity or Cunning but would have thought that the ability would have been left to the Tenacity family of pets?

Any advice?

Thunderstomp has been removed in 8.0.

The pet guide on Wowhead (diff than the BM guide) covers all abilities pets will have now.

Unfortunately yes, Thunderstomp is gone, along with some other abilities.

if you want thunderstomp back(kinda), you can take the stomp talent from the lv 90 row. it ties it to barbed shot and there's no additional threat, but it is damage from the pet for threat purposes.
