So this has been troubling me ever since I noticed it as I started leveling. My Ghost Saber has retained her ability to Thunderstomp, even though the ability isn't in her spellbook and she's supposed to be Ferocity anyway, being a Cat. Before BfA hit and locked pets to their respective specs, she was specced for Tenacity.

I finally took the time to report this as a bug.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm just dumb and forgot what I'd specced into long ago. *blush*

I feel like I've seen this once or twice, but it seems to be really rare when it happens. At first I thought it might have been the BM talent Stomp, but I swear I feel like I saw it while running around as Survival, too.

Edit: Do you have the ring that gives your pets the abilities of all pet specs? Do you have some sort of DPS meter like Recount or Skada or something to see if it's really Thunderstomp?

Heh, well now I feel dumb. :roll:

Checked the combat log and it had my pet using Stomp. Opened my talents and there it was; Stomp. Even tried it out, my pet indeed only stomps when I use Barbed Shot.

So, mystery solved. Suppose a cooler option would've been for it to be a bug.
