The tough thing with this guy is that even if you have a horde friend willing to help, sharding is a huge roadblock. I tried for an hour with a horde friend to get into the same shard but it just wasn’t happening I ended up naming a pet “iTameSnekPLZ” and spamming /wait and then /point at my pet till a kind Druid let me grab Aggro and tame. Good luck!!!

I can try to help on EU side at least. I abandoned quest so I can summon him whenever; but sharding will always be an issue. What you can TRY is, arrange for it to be done, then if you have a friend on Horde, get them there--you'll need the invite to your server anyway--and see if you can see them. IF you can see them, they can invite a Petopian to summon so you can tame.

US, I have asked guildies even trade chat horde and ally side still to no avail.I watch this awesome pet rise and die over and over here but cant commo.even tried the point at my pets name trik lol

I've been trying to work on this one myself. I almost had it a couple times, but 'almost' only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades!

Man, I'm sad I didn't keep this quest so I could help other people. At the time I tamed the white serpent on a whim because it looked cool, but I'm glad I did since I had no idea it would be so tricky to get again.

The next time I level a horde character I'm going to be sure to hold that quest so at least I can help people in the future, if they don't end up putting that skin anywhere else.

I have parked my Tauren shaman alt at the spawn with the quest. Im on US. Nesingwary/Nazgrel/Vek'nilash server cluster if anyone needs. My Bnet is Jelani#1928. And perfectly willing to let my shaman die for you to get aggro. lol

I have a Horde with the quest in the general area on Bloodhoof-EU and whichever other realms are sharded with it.

Would love to tame on my Ally, Chamber of Aspects-EU. Edit: Managed to tame her thanks to the help of a lovely random horde player.

Ugh, if only we could cross faction group. Spent a long time trying to get the snake for someone but couldnt get into the same instance >_<

I think the easiest possible way would be to get ported over to Emerald Dream's non-warmode. Currently, ED does not share a sharding with any other server. I could work on getting my DH out to that quest spot and whoever needs the snake can do some grouping shenanigans with a trial character to get ported over?

Also Prefacing: I do not have an alliance character to port people over with. I would have to make many, many trial characters so I'mma leave that up to whoever wants to try.

I mean US. Our Emerald Dream is the only RP-PVP server. So it doesn't get shared with anything. Now I don't know if it shards within itself, however. (Or well, WAS a 'pvp' server, pretty sure it still doesn't shard with another server, however. The devs were asked about it not long ago. It's a high pop server like Area 52/Illidan/ect.)

Edit: I did happen to see -one- person from Moon Guard a moment ago. Concerned now that this is also no longer a viable way as I'm wondering if Non-Warmode now shards with other RP Realms or if this was a one off with quest grouping. I'll update if I see more people from other RP servers pass by. I'll be here on a toon called Naradre for a bit if anyone wants to check in and see if they can find me.

Edit 2: Might not be a good day to hunt up each other as there's a WQ up that seems broken and there's a ton of people piling up and just killin' a buncha stuff outta boredom. 9-9

Edit 3: My Bnet is Buu#1402 for those on US servers who want to try this when this WQ is NOT up. There are far too many people getting bottlenecked on this broken quest to safely try anything with sharding right now. I'd rather try helping when there won't be 15 horde dog pile on it and killing it out of boredom/thinking it's the WQ mob they need to kill.
