OK, should this guy be added to the raptor family ? since it is a beast, although untameable

Most likely unintended that they are a Beast instead of Undead. There are several NPCs in BfA that are misclassified: a hydra that is a humanoid, a murloc that is a beast, a wasp that is a humanoid, etc.

There are some Horde axe thrower humanoids in Stormsong that are classified as beasts, they have diets and everything. Reported multiple times in beta, but alas! Not tameable of course but that would be hilarious.

That would be so cool if it was tamable. I know there are already some undead pets but still. Imagine if Undead hunters could tame all undead pets like gnomes and goblins can with mechanical pets.

I can't tell you how many xpacs I've weeped over being unable to add more dead or decaying pets to my stables. I wanted those zombiedevilsaurs so bad. /cry

I would actually kill a man to be able to tame the undead devilsaurs. ;_;

I wish they would just let us have them, we have so many zombie pets already, and the undead eagle is practically a skeletal mummy. They also gave us the Black Arrow/Dark Minion ability in MM, which raises undead pets so....c'mon Blizz.

:lol:

(I've technically made him into a scourged devilsaur already, at least when it comes to RP, since I've gone ahead and made Vephriel a dark ranger in-character.

Undead raptors and devilsaurs please and thank you, Blizzard :'D

Also, I'm so used to seeing Skorn with his grey belly that I always do a double-take whenever I see his model in-game :lol: It gets me every time

The undead eagle was a real stretch, but I think they did it just to be nice and used the rationalization that it was just 'plagued' rather than dead :)

That said, I wouldn't be opposed to skeletal pets. If the undead creatures still think that they're beasts and they still behave like beasts, then maybe they could be still tamed like beasts. Maybe a skeletal creature should be the default pet for Forsaken and something that is hard to learn for the rest of us.

Those wicker beasts (that actually have a diet) plus Ulfar's line (even if he might've just been referring to the mini pet) make me really hopeful. And the undead devilsaurs, ugh.
