Help please: invasion mobs

If you come across any beasts, tameable or not, associated with the new Faction Assaults, could you please let us know?
Ideally we'd like the following info, if you can:
- zone of assault
- whether friendly to, or attackable by a particular faction
- if attackable, whether it can be tamed
- the colours
- the NPC ID if you use the macro:

Code: Select all

/run local npcid = tonumber(strmatch(UnitGUID("target"),"-(%d*)-%x*$")) print("Target NPC Family: ", UnitCreatureFamily("target"), " ID: ", npcid) ShowUIPanel(DressUpFrame) DressUpModel:SetCreature(npcid)
(spam the above macro to see the full range of possible colours for the NPC)

The Boralus invasion up right now has dinosaurs in Mariner's Row. Can anyone on Alliance please check their status? My hunter is Horde. Thanks :)

The Ravasaur Fleshripper, the Ravasaur Sniffer, and the Venomous Diemetradon are tamable. :)

Thanks! :) The rest of their info I can gather on Horde.

Oddly, I couldn't see them associated with a particular quest on either faction, unless I overlooked one. Maybe they're just decoration.

I caught 2/3. I couldn't see the Fleshrippers. I did also find Citybreaker Oka in Crosswind Commons, but I can already tell she's not tameable as she has no family data. If she had been tameable a lot of Horde players probably would have complained ;) She is a previously unseen combo of skin and armour for the armoured devilsaurs, though.

Never mind. I found some Fleshrippers. Also, I suspect all those wandering NPCs are associated with the one Alliance quest where you recruit drunkards to kill the devilsaur. I noted that likelihood on their info :D

No, sorry. The only beasts associated with this particular invasion are:

Of course next time it's in Tiragarde there could be different quests and NPCs.

I saw some void raptors when the Alliance where invading zuldazar. I did not get to check as the invasion ran out :(

They are in that primal scar place the void elves are making them.

If the next expansion takes us out into the void then things like that might be a good new specialty tame, along with void hounds. Void hounds remain the one thing I want to see tameable out of anything, but they're all classed as demons or aberrations. They're effectively beasts of the void :)

Oh yes! I can see it now... can be tamed once you've found the "Tome of the Void".

I added the Voidcrafted Ravsaurs (aberrations, untameable) from today's Zuldazar assault. They were the only ones I saw today.

Oh, there's also Mighty An'ja, an armoured devilsaur, which seems to only be visible to Alliance. During the quest you're in a vehicle (undead void devilsaur), and even if Mighty An'ja were tameable I'm not sure you could exit the vehicle and access it. I don't have an Alliance hunter to check the tameability anyway.

There isn’t any way to exit the vehicle and still be able to interact in any manner with the Devilsaur, as far as I know.

There seems to be other dinos in Warbeast Kraal that we don't have listed. I suspect none are tameable, but I'll document them.

Yeah, I noticed a few others during the Void Devilsaur section of the Alliance assault, but there isn’t any way of checking on tamability outside of looking at the DB.

I noticed that Direhorn Juvenile (and maybe others?) might not be documented fully. For example DJ also comes in green but we don't have that noted, and I suspect it's because the same name is used for multiple beasts / IDs and it's become confused. I first looked up DJ under green and saw none so I thought it wasn't listed at all, but it is under other colours :)

Yeah, that area of Zuldazar was rather confusing when documenting due to how many npcs share the same name but have different IDs. If you need help with it I can take a look later on today :)
