Veph has her big black devilsaur, Rexxar has his bear Misha, Dizzit has his Black panther, Even GiGi has her Loque. Id like to have a pet that can be a "Me" pet. Something thats a unique pet thats kinda...IDK. I dont know how to realy describe it. Something that may be a bit less common, not like a spirit beast (everyone uses those) but still is a "Me" animal. PLEASE feel free to suggest something else if you think it fits better with me but here are my ideas.

Could you post a screenshot of your char so we who aren't lucky <Petopians> can see what you look like--if it's the troll in your sig I can't really make him out I think matching a pet to a hunter is half the battle

Here's some suggestions that I thought of. The important thing I think is just finding that creature you 'click' with. ^^

The orange plumage and green eyes really matches your Troll aesthetically, and they're definitely a unique pet, I don't see them around ever.


These gorgeous cats use the riding tiger model, and the spotted skin is surprisingly one I don't see all too often.


Lava tarantulas don't get enough love in my opinion, and I would definitely call them unique.

I seriously NEVER see anyone with a Moth, which is surprising, as they're pretty solid pets, and don't look to shoddy either.

Wow, that lava tarantula actually looks REALLY cool. I'd never noticed the rock-like markings on its back!

I also like the dreadsaber model... I can't wait until the white tiger skin is available for it. I REALLY wish they had an orange version

If you're looking for an exotic, I'd suggest Aotona, if you can find her. I have her on my main ally hunter, and I can't even begin to tell you how many quesrtions I get. Mostly from lvl 80 hunters never having seen her before. I have never seen anyone else with her as a pet.

Now, aside from that, my Petopian troll hunter has the orange tiger from echo isles and Bjarn. I think the orange tiger is absolutely stunning and you never see anyone with one as a pet. Everyone wants a white or black one.

It's really hard for someone to pick out a "you" pet. I'd say try some out and see what clicks.

i got to agree, thats what i did with my hunter, tried out different pets till i found the one that clicked, which happened to be Loque and trying to find a seconed one incase loque needs a vaction, cant work her to hard.

I must say that after having a look at your character, I agree with Acherontia's suggestions. I also like the idea of Aotona.

All in all though, it depends what pet you click with. For me, I instantly clicked with Arcturis, a pet I tamed cause I liked him but wasn't convinced on... until the second I saw him spawn. He's such a perfect pet for my draenei and I love him to pieces. Before that, I was completely and totally in love with my regular grey spiky raptor. We went everywhere together. Heh.

The suggestion to try to tame a bunch of the pets people have suggested is a good one. You won't know if a pet suits you until you have it by your side.

This is the one I want to try on my troll when high enough...

I've seen tons of hunters, and one thing I never see is a sporebat.........................-Unknowne-Elune

And I'm the guy with 4 lvl 80 hunters so he can have more pets............

Hehe, it's true that you don't see many sporebats. On Nesingwary there's a Troll hunter with one named Bob. I always see him in the major cities, and every time I go by I have to /hug Bob. He probably thinks I'm a stalker, lol.
