Heya.

Im looking to begin a brand new hunter, just to enjoy the lvling experience, a few 5 mans, and WQ for rep for the races.

I played just before legion came out, and am going to re-sub.

My question is..how is hunter pet management?

I don't like attacking when things are punching me in the face, will my pet tank multiple mobs? will I have to kill one at a time?

If you have growl on, which you should in the open world under most circumstances, your pet will mostly hold aggro. If you're having trouble with a particular mob, use misdirect on your pet to try and refocus its aggro. Or just trap it and finish it off after the others are dead.
