Recently I've been on the hunt for 'named' pets because they can include the 'orginal name' keeping it while players aren't able to use spaces/special characters.

would it be possible to base a search off of 'named' tames?

That would be good! I just need a full list of all the ones that are flagged for this now. I haven’t compiled one yet or checked them all. It’ll take some time
