I noticed that on the Classic page, Takk is listed as Elite. He is only a Rare, I just tamed him on Classic with my female NE Hunter, Shaylis. Hello all, long time no see.

That's really odd. Judging by our old data and the cached comments on Wowhead, he should be elite, and had been elite since about patch 1.6. Can anyone else confirm this, just in case Takk was glitching?

Ok, interesting results. Looked at Takk with standard Target UI and it shows him as an Elite, but when I turned on my Pearl UI (the Target UI) it showed Takk as a Rare. Screenshots below to show you.
So I think he should be classified as a Rare Elite.

Just went back and looked at those screenshots. The Perl UI shows Takk as a 19r+ vs just a 19r. So that + means it is a Rare Elite. So the problem is me, LOL. Just wanted to make a note of this.
