How to level up low level pets?

Hi there. Just got Broken Tooth after 45 min of searching. The pet is 37 as known, but my hunter is 56. How can I level the pet up as fast as possible?

Congrats, and welcome to Petopia. You will need to defeat mobs that give your character xp. At your level, maybe fight mobs around level 50?

the fastest way is to get in dungeon groups, keep broken tooth on passive and fight that way. Otherwise, your best bet would be to fight against ranged only mobs like the black drakes in burning steppes with again, your pet on passive.
