Old boar model vs the new boar model

Question for all the hunters out there. Do you prefer the vanilla model or the new model that uses the Direhorn skeleton? I wish that they updated the old model (like they did with the wolves in WoD) instead of reusing the direhorn skeleton, even as a mount (the mount special makes no sense on a boar, since boars don't have a tail like the direhorn)

I like aspects of both, but the Vanilla ones had so much more personality in their skeletons and animations, I wish they'd use it again. :(

I prefer the old animations because they're more pig-like. Only thing I like about the new boars is that they don't look like they came from a PSX game made a decade late. Like the old Pterrordax model, these boars need to be given a visual upgrade without replacing them with the new models. Give them the Tallstrider treatment (minus color failure) already!

Yeah, I'd love to see the undead boar updated, but I also fear they'd tone it down or something after what happened to, for example, the undead quillboar from Vanilla (updates completely lose their skull face, protruding bones/gore, and replace them with just some purplish skin that's a little bumpy :/)
