Restore rare pet names

Is there any way to restore a rare pet to its original tamed name if it contains punctuation? Would really like my Loque'nahak to have his full name but I dont want to have to camp another one.

Unfortunately no, you will have to tame a new one.

It would be great if they added this, but they haven’t so far. I imagine it’s theoretically possible, since your pet retains its original ID.
