Party Synch and Tames?

Has anyone tried using Party Synch to artificially lower the level of certain mobs to make them tameable? Rei Lu is finally up again with the Mogu Assault but as a level 52 mob he's 'too high to tame'. But he is marked as tameable.

Unfortunately not, he’s part of the mogu phase of the assaults, and it requires lvl 50 to do assaults so unfortunately not
