Panthara tame problems.

I tamed the panathara back in legion no problem with the meat, I know that there was a problem with the freezing trap method after 8.3, and as of 9.0 people have said to use a freezing trap...
5 talbuk meats later, neither strategy works. I have tried everything to tame the other colors now that i have more stable slots, but just cant seem to get it to work. Has anyone else tried? Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Edit: Seems I am only having this problem with the Ancient Duskcloak. I did a test after I farmed another meat and was successful with taming a trench stalker.
