I read this is needed to tame some cool pets and am wondering if I was to say activate an old account is it possible to use class trials for this?

I avoid pvp at all costs and so hopefully using a class trial can really help thank you for replies.

Do you mean use a class trial account for the "kill xxx players of the same/opposite faction" parts? That might be difficult, since you need to be in BfA zones and need to be in the same war mode shard. I found that it was hard to end up in the same shard in Kul Tiras, and had to go to Nazjatar, which requires unlocking. You'll also need more than one other person to kill for the same-faction part or you'll run out of time before it expires (there's a 10 min cooldown on killing the one player that only counts down while they're still online).
