Have any of you gotten bows from world quests? I am in BM spec and all I get from world quests are survival spears. Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss turning something on?

Nope spear after spear after spear.

Don't think I've gotten any bows, I've seen a crossbow a few times on the mission table.

I've barely seen any gear never mind a bow.

Actually, not spears, it’s mostly staves :p

Either way, completely useless. Maybe I have to go survival to be offered a bow :p

I see what you all say, I sometimes get a bow or a gun, and sometimes a polearm, I hope Blizz fixes that, if they won’t, I’ll use MM as the loot spec until it gets looked at

I've noticed this oddity. I have seen a crossbow like once, but its usually spears and staves. On my Fury warrior, its a sea of shields. My feral/guardian druid? Int Off-hands as far as the eye can see. I've been trying to do the conduit WQ just in case those spawn in place of a piece of gear, but not sure that works.

Funny coincidence, the Gormageddon WQ in Ardenweald is offering a nice bow upgrade for me today. This is the first bow I've seen in ages!

I've had a fair few, up to about 168. I think it's just luck.

On NA realms, the Bastion WQ "Flight Scool: Flapping Frenzy" offers a bow today. It was an upgrade for me at least

Yes, I've definitely had ranged weapons as rewards.

There was a lovely 194 bow up today in EU for grabbing some cocoons.

Omg there's actually a bow up right now in NA! This one is Pest Removal, for killing gorms in Ardenweald!

WQ give shite rewards this expansion. As a resto shaman all I've been offered are enhance weapons...my offspec is ele. I've not once used any WQ loot reward.

In NA there's a bow on offer from a WQ in Ardenweald right now. Sorry, I forget the name but it involves killing gorm. It had a nice mace for my shammy too.

Can confirm the same quest gives an incredible 2h mace for melee classes. There's also a quest to kill Drust for a 1h sword for melee as well. Today in NA is a magical time for weapons, especially if you've finished Renown grinding. The gorm quest weapons are item level 197, which is better than raid finder and just barely under normal. Every one of my level 60 characters got upgraded weapons today, no thanks in part to the game's horrendous RNG that favors giving everything but weapons.

There's a nice bow on offer right now from the WQ "Calling the Champions" outside the Theater in Maldraxxus. This is for Americas/Oceanic.

I am completely pissed off by how poorly they did the gearing optimization per specification. I have set Beast Mastery as my loot spec and I get non-BM stuff (conduits, armor, weapons) all the time almost non-stop. WHy even HAVE a loot spec if you're going to keep giving me conduits for specs i *never* use?

Oh lord it feels like I never get BM conduits until I've run through all the MM and Survival ones first.
