Are the icehoof calves tameable? It's been a long time since I've started up a Horde garrison that I don't remember whether they stick around when 'dropped' or if they despawn.

Aside from being hunted as part of an achievement, Pets like Loque were notoriously hunted by griefers for the grey tear object they dropped. I don't know if that counts or not.
Also, anything in a Nesingwary zone.

My rylak boy Hex was a rescue tame. ^^
In the Spires of Arak the iron horde are capturing and killing them for their venom, there a few tameable ones in chains!
Maybe also the rare ghost wolf that has a sword in it's head?
Or if you're insane you could try and get the Sewer Beast which spawns in Stormwind and is usually killed instantly by players or the guards
