Does anyone know what pet changes happened in TBC?
Will we need to capture new pets to learn higher ranks of Bite/Claw/etc?
What changes happened in TBC for pets?

I'm planning to set up a separate forum in a few days so we can work out all the changes and I can get the site ready

From what Blizz has said, they are planning to make changes to TBC classic that weren't actually present during TBC.

That could actually be good. It might allow for NPCs to become tameable that should have been but weren't.
I doubt most people are as rigidly nostalgic about BC as they were about Vanilla Classic, so they're less likely to be hostile towards QoL changes. Quite a few Vanilla fans seemed to be very zealous that there be no differences.
