so I have come to the decision I dont want skoll anymore. I have alot of reasons
1. I allready have 1 spirit beast getting another is a waste of a space for a different pet
2. camping skoll wastes too many hours of my few days off. I once actually sat up for 28 hours and never saw him. what a waste
3. everyone has skoll. So why should i join the club

Hell I even have a RP story reason--skoll doesnt find me worthy.

now I can fill that space with a tennacity pet

You do as you wish. Perhaps some day you'll come to want him again. Otherwise, well, some pets aren't supposed to be. Sorry you never found him.

Just switch to passively looking for him. If he's up some time while you pass by then awesome, but don't go through all that trouble if it just makes you frustrated. I'll keep an eye out for him as well.

I never intended to have any spirit pet except for Skoll. HE was the one I wanted. The rest just kind of found me. If you want a rare to look for that I've never seen anyone else with on Velen, look for Aotona. In fact, check Silvirin's post to see the dps difference I posted up. You might be surprised.

P.S. I have two SB's,Arcturis and Loque,and I have Aotoona....Skoll is next,and that means my beloved Sianna,my Shy-Rotam,may have to go...which makes me a sad hunter

Sound's like sour grapes to me. Just because you can't find him, doesn't mean he's over-rated. I do apologize for the difficulty you are having, but it took me over a year to find Loque, and I still think s/he is worth it.

Maybe in Cata all of the Northred wolves will be so fat that they can barely move. They'll have little legs and have to rol everywhere! Much better then starving wolves!

And I'm sorry to hear that, Redith. I personally have never been a big Spirit beast fan, and I never spent more then an hour looking for a rare. But I understand what it feels like to waste time for something... *Shows me sitting at my comp with the Battleground tab on adn it says that I have been qued for 9 hours*

Also sounds like sour grapes to me. I camped for mine a week straight before finding it, and I've hear of people having to wait longer. I guess the point is if the pet is really worth it, a person will put the time into getting it. It shouldn't matter how many other people have it.

The styling of the wolves don't really bother me. In this case, they obviously used the design from the movie 300.

Wow, I love the movie 300 and for some reason I never noticed or put together the obvious similarity between those wolves. xD The Northrend worgs really do look heavily inspired from them.

Just because someone is having trouble and because of that lets their hopes go down is not a reason to tell them they are being sour about it, maybe he decided Skoll really isnt worth it? Maybe he decided he dosent really want him? Whatever the case if he thinks its overrated or he dosent thats his opinion and it may differ from yours - I had Skoll and didnt end up liking him part of it was the reason that everyone had him. I couldnt set foot in a town without seeing one..he didnt feel as special..he just felt..common. /shrug - Anyways keep tryin if you'd like Red if not thats fine its up to you

Maybe just looking casually is a good idea. You'll stumble over him eventually.

I do agree with the fact that you should only keep one Spirit Beast... sadly Skoll is the only one I really like so I had to get ride of Loqu and my blue bear

Yeah, I went through that with my corehound, and later, to a lesser extent, with my blighthound. His name, Cerberus, is hardly uncommon, and the skins were popular. I still miss my corepuppy, but it did kill me on several levels that there were other hunters wandering around with my baby. It's one thing to occasionally run into a twin, but it was happening far too often. :/

I'm actually still okay with my Arc, since no one will ever duplicate his name. It's just the direct duplicates that got to me.

i dont think red is being sour, just hurt. I know how it is to see the animal you want as a pet and have it killed while taming it. i think we all do. in my opion being sour about it would be like " omg! i hate skoll! i hate wow! this is not fair that person should be banned! blizzard owns me how can i go on playing?? QQ QQ QQ" that would be sour in my opion. from what im seeing red's just saying maybe he is to over rated for him, that just to move on and hey if skoll pops while in sp then cool if not, not gonna waste the time looking for him. but again just my opinion cause i <3 red
