Yup. For me, as someone who doesn't use English as the first language, I feel the word 'Mechanical' becoming a noun seems off to me though I'm aware there are instances where the word can be a noun instead of an adjective.

"Mechanical" is also an NPC class like Beast or Humanoid, so the pet family within that class should probably have been named something else to avoid confusion. Mechanimal or Robeast works well, otherwise just "Automaton".
