Hello, I just joined this forum today because I saw a video on youtube and the person was going over Dragonflight pets. All the the pets he displayed were screen grabs from your website.

Just wanted to give you a heads up!!!

Video source is - h t t p s://youtu.be/F0AJTpmOoug (altered the link so it wouldnt get flagged)

Thank you!!

The link is legit (I went to youtube to copypaste the ending url just to be safe) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0AJTpmOoug
It is pretty rude that they don't mention Petopia or show the site at all in the video, seems like they're intentionally trying to pass it off as their own content.

Thanks for letting me know! I really appreciate it.

What a rude individual. I'm not sure if there's much I can do but I'll look into it.

Looks like they added credit to the very bottom of the description of the video. It's pretty hidden.
I may or may not have left a comment on it.

Thanks for that! :) And I see he did add attribution, even if it was after the fact. Hopefully he learns that web content creators aren't just there to provide YouTubers to with unattributed content.

I was touched by all the support and comments from people, so thank you all! 💚

jDev wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 10:24 am Ik it's an old thread, but I’ve been dealing with content theft issues myself and Idk what to do. This is so frustrating. If anyone has advice on this or how to address content theft effectively, I’d appreciate the help. Thanks for sharing and supporting each other <3
If you find someone actually stealing your content there is always the DMCA system. That's what it's there for. Of course, only resort to that if there is actual theft happening. I would maybe suggest first to reach out to the person and be like "Hey so this is mine and I didnt give you permission to do what youre doing with it. Please remove it/please add credit to me." And kinda go from there. Good luck, jDev!
