This is a great web site for all hunter pet related information. Currently this comment is pointed towards WOW Classic Seasonal, but its a generic issue that covers all versions. I am just using level 30 as an example since that a big achievement level for most any hunters. Its a big heart break at level 30 when a hunter wants to obtain new skills/abilities like Dash - Prowl- Thunderstomp to train their current pet(s) and has to wait until they reach level 32 to be able to tame the beasts to even learn these skills/abilities.
Just seems a little awkward that you have to learn the skills from a level 32 or higher beast to be able to train a level 30 pet for the same skill/ability. Food for thought and as a suggestion for a correction to
https://www.wow-petopia.com/classic/abilities.php since you not learning these skills at level 30, your actually leaning these skills at level 32 and these skills should be listed in the level 32 section right next to Bite 5 and Claw 5 where it really belongs. This creates a domino effect. Once again you have to become a level 34 to learn Claw 5 and then be able to train you level 32 pet.
I guess that's way the retail version did away with it. This is the beauty of the beast within. Just wondering if anyone else is scratching their heads over this as well.
