Vaniik the Stormtouched model change??

so I saw Vaniik and tamed him on my earthen yesterday, but noticed he does NOT have the horns Petopia and Wowhead both indicate. I checked my human I got him on a month or so ago, and the horns also weren't there. Did his model change at some point? I'll be dissappointed if so, because that's the only indicated npc with the model to tame.

Not only vaniik, also the ohn’ahra kiss mount changed to the basic model, I think it’s a bug in this patch, but I hope it gets fixed soon

I did notice that the models marked as having horns DO have the little air ""horns"" that the regular model doesn't seem to have, but it's very irritating to not have the physical horns. glad it's not just me with the problem, if not glad that it is a thing at all.
