query about race change and tamed pets

so, I made a pandaren hunter and while I was on the isle I tamed the cloud serpent and stone hound. however, I'm just not feeling her and am considering a race change, but since pandaren are the only ones that should have access to those pets, I'm wondering if they will go poof, or maybe just lose their names. does anyone know what, if anything, will happen to those pets should I race-change?
