Don't you all think its time to clear out many of these posts now?? Im seeing inactive posts which last responses were from 2016 and such.. Time to clear the post clutter across the site.

I think locking threads that are super old and no longer appear to have any relevance wouldnt be a terrible idea.
I'm not a fan of deleting posts just because they are old, as some times old posts can hold some valuable information. It's also a glance back into the past on how things were, how we used to solve problems and and a record of how things have progressed over time.
Alternatively, having some sort of script in place that takes note of when the last post to the thread was and putting a post on 'hold for review' on super old threads, could be another option.

if you mean the Stickied threads I agree some might be out of date at this point, but forums should never remove old threads just for the sake of them being old, if they're inactive they'll naturally slide down the pages

the archival nature of old forums like this are quite beneficial I think, especially when most online resources have moved to fast-moving, less stable spaces like Discord

I still miss the era of phpBB boards like this, even if traffic has slowed down here, there's still a lot of good info you can find with the search tools

Long as it doesn't have an impact on the site overall, then its fine.

I'm not a fan of removing posts. I can't tell you how often I've searched for an answer on the internet and found it buried in ancient knowledge.
