I just updated the forums to the latest software version (phpBB 3.3.17).

It's working! Though I'm afraid my very first click (which was to open this thread) gave me the familiar 503 error. Not sure if that was a hopeful fix with this update or not.

A refresh tends to fix these but I've noticed they've stuck around for a while, especially if I go to open a few topics in multiple tabs (the first one might load but the next two will be 503 pages until I refresh them)

I think the 503 error might be part of the throttling the server owner added to prevent spamming bringing down the site I haven't had one lately, so you may have just been unlucky.

Ahh I see! That probably is on my habit of opening topics in tabs when I check for unread topics, I guess it's opening pages too quickly.

Thanks for the heads up. The whole site shrunk on my screen though?

Hmm, it looks normal to me. Try hitting ctrl and zero at the same time, in case you accidentally zoomed out?
