Though we have a while until we get to see 12.2 on the PTR, they have shared some screenshots of a few new beasts that can be found in the patch.

Sure wish the cameraman wasn't drunk and actually showed the screen instead of the guy talking to no applause. I'm pretty excited that gyreworms got SOME love.

That bat looks awesome I want it now. This looks like it uses the protodrake skeleton (iridikron is definitely on to something). This will be the best time to make flying jellyfish tameable.

I finally found the what’s next, and on the new wildlife, there looks to be a dragon made of stone & azerite. Possibly a new lesser dragonkin. I hope so

I NEEEE Azerite beasts!

Looks like Rockflayers are getting a new model. In Outland, most of them are humanoids, but there are also some beast variants. Not sure what creature type they'll be this time around, but it would be really cool if they turn out to be tameable.

Also, this is one of the best patches to add Deepflayers. I really hope we can tame these giant bats in this patch — I absolutely love them. Here's hoping we also get tameable Azerite Deepflayers as well.

Rockflayers would be a neat addition, but due to how unique they are they would be best in their own family, and unfortunately Blizz has generally shied away from adding new pet families in the middle of xpacs lately

I can't stress enough how much I want a rock crystal-themed feathermane pet.
